Refund & Deferment Policy
Part 1: Deferment & Self-Paced Transition Policy
1. Program Delivery Model
Data Techcon programs may be delivered through a combination of:
- Recorded curriculum (self-paced learning)
- Live cohort sessions (when offered)
- Structured mentorship support
Access to recorded content and defined mentorship support constitutes the core program delivery. Live cohort sessions, when available, are considered optional enhancements and are not required to complete the program.
2. Deferment Eligibility
Learners may request a deferment due to personal, professional, or scheduling constraints.
A deferment allows the learner to:
- Pause live participation (if applicable)
- Continue learning through recorded materials
- Resume engagement at a later time without penalty
Deferment requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the terms outlined below.
3. Access During Deferment
During a deferment period, learners retain access to:
- All previously unlocked course recordings
- Program materials, assignments, and learning resources
- Any recordings from completed cohorts included in the program curriculum
Access to materials is uninterrupted and remains available for self-paced progression.
4. Mentorship Support
Where mentorship is included as part of the program:
- Learners are entitled to up to a defined number of 1:1 mentorship sessions (as specified at enrollment)
- Sessions are scheduled in advance and subject to availability
- Mentorship is intended to support assignment review, concept clarification, and guided feedback
- Unused sessions do not roll over beyond the program's support window unless explicitly stated
5. Live Cohort Participation
Live cohorts:
- Are offered periodically and may vary by program
- Are optional and not required for program completion
- May not run every calendar year
If and when live cohorts are scheduled, eligible learners may be invited to join based on availability and alignment with program timelines. Participation in future live cohorts is not guaranteed and does not impact access to the core program content.
6. Transition to Self-Paced Format
Data Techcon reserves the right to transition programs from live-cohort delivery to a fully self-paced format.
In such cases:
- Learners will retain access to the full recorded curriculum
- Program completion remains fully supported through self-paced learning and defined mentorship
- No additional action is required from learners to continue progress
7. Refunds & Cancellations
Once a learner has accessed program materials and recordings, the program is considered delivered.
- Deferment does not constitute cancellation
- Refunds are not issued for deferment requests after program access has been granted
- Learners maintain access to the full program value through recordings and mentorship support
8. Program Completion
Learners may complete the program at their own pace using the available materials and support. Program completion does not depend on live cohort attendance.
9. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect program improvements or delivery changes. Any updates will be communicated clearly and applied consistently.
Our Commitment
Our goal is to ensure every learner receives the full value of their program in a way that supports their goals, timeline, and well-being — without dependency on live scheduling.
Part 2: Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation Window
Learners may cancel their enrollment and request a full refund within seven (7) days of enrollment, provided that:
- The program has not yet started, and
- The learner has not accessed any course materials, recordings, or resources.
2. Late Enrollment
Enrollments made within seven (7) days of the program start date are final and non-refundable, regardless of the enrollment date.
3. Program Access
Once a learner has accessed any portion of the program—including recordings, materials, assignments, or live sessions—the program is considered delivered and is non-refundable.
4. Deferment in Place of Refunds
If a learner is unable to continue due to personal or scheduling challenges after program access has been granted, they may request a deferment in accordance with the Deferment & Self-Paced Transition Policy.
5. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period.
6. Policy Acknowledgment
By enrolling in a Data Techcon program, learners acknowledge and agree to this refund and cancellation policy.
7. Installment Payments & Grace Period
For programs purchased using an installment payment plan, all payments must be made on or before the scheduled due dates.
A 3-day grace period applies to missed installment payments. If payment is not received within this grace period:
- The account will be marked as delinquent
- Enrollment will be canceled
- Access to all training videos, resources, and course materials will be revoked
Access will not be reinstated unless the outstanding balance is paid in full and re-enrollment is approved, subject to availability.
Important Notes
- No refunds will be issued for missed or late installment payments.
- Failure to complete installment payments does not waive the obligation to pay the remaining balance.
- Data Techcon reserves the right to update or enforce payment policies to protect the integrity of its programs.
